Following a heavy and busy schedule of travel and addressing the people of Sydney and Brisbane, it was now time to have a little breather. At Human Appeal International Al Habib Umar was acquainted with their work, specifically their recent relief work in Palestine. He was gifted with a sample of soil, taken from the grounds of Al Aqsa. Al Habib prayed that now that we have some of its soil, we would soon be able to walk through its doors. Dar Al Koran hosted Al Habib and one of its students delivered his final ayah before al Habib completing his memorization of the whole Koran. Maghreb prayer at Lakemba mosque was then followed by the daily purification of the heart lesson, which saw the masjid almost completely full of believers absorbing al Habib Umar’s guidance. The first of our community events then followed. The dinner for professionals carried the titled of “The role of Muslim Professionals in the west”.
